To install BasisFit, simply download the tgz archive, copy
to your install directory and untar:

   tar xvfz BasisFit.tgz

Then follow the instructions in the included README.setup
README.run files

You will need to have a python interpreter installed 
with access to the numpy package (included as standard 
under most MAC OSX operating systems)
