The first release.
- Back up any folders or whole drives, as several jobs, each with its own destination, format and schedule.
- Incremental backups you can browse: every backup is a normal folder, and files that didn't change are hard links, so they take no extra space.
- Or one zip per backup (four compression levels), or an encrypted archive (AES-256, opens only with your password).
- Runs manually, hourly, every 6 hours, daily or weekly, a minute after files change, and when the backup drive is plugged in, even under a new letter.
- Smart retention: everything from the last 24 hours, one a day for a month, one a week for a year. Or simply the last N.
- Exclusions like
node_modules; *.tmp, and open files (Outlook .pst, databases) through a shadow copy. - Restore a whole backup to its original places or to another folder, or find one file and bring back any of its versions.
- Tray, start with Windows, progress bar and cancel, and updates itself from here.
