This OVA consists of a lUbuntu 16.04 LTS server pre configured to support AuditQi on a medium sized network. 

It was exported from ESXi 5.5 and has also been tested successfully under VirtualBox

By default it uses 3Gb or better of host memory but should work with as little as 2Gb for testing purposes. 

The AuditQi agent should resolve and connect to this server automatically.

When importing into Virtualbox (https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads)

Select import applicance
Under guest OS type select Ubuntu (64bit)
Tick Reinit the MAC address of all network cards.
You may wish to adjust the resolution of the virtual screen. 
Preferences --> monitor setting --> 1280 x 720 save and reboot.

General setup
-------------

The VM has a text file on the desksite with security account details and additional setup
It it recommended that you enable and configure the firewall
(Preferences --> Firewall) to allow connections to port 3306 (mysql), and port 80 only
from desired machines ie your LAN and block all other connections. 

Prerequisites and Windows Setup
-------------------------------

The management PC requires the MySQL connector installed, 
and if the full version of access is not installed the MS Access Runtime.

Finally download the agent AuditQi.exe and run it on the PCs/Servers you wish to monitor.

Use the management MDB to configure data collection and health rules. 


Troubleshooting
---------------

Test you can ping AuditQi from your clients and admin PCs, if not you will need to configure a fixed 
address for the server and setup a DNS entry for "AuditQi"

Check that the version of the SQL connector installed matches your version of MS Access ie 32 vs 64 bits.

The agent is not at present signed software this may require some security workarounds to avoid user prompts when running.
