AudioSlicer is a Cocoa GUI application that finds all silences in an audio file and allows you to split it into several smaller audio files and to name/tag them properly. For now only MP3 is supported but other formats may come in the future.

User Reviews

  • working well, it help you automatically divide the file base on the silence that also can be set from 0 second up to 60 second secondly, the app is small in size, efficient ^_^ two thumbs up
  • I wanted to be able to divide up an Audible Audiobook to put on my Apple Watch (there is a limit of 200MB for a file to be put on my watch). Audioslicer worked great on my Mac to divide up the book into multiple files that I could then upload to my watch. Was really easy to use.
