Assisted dRawing tooL Download Instructions The downloaded file is zipped. 7-Zip may be downloaded, free of charge, from https://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/ . Extraction Once you have installed 7-zip, and downloaded the ARO installation files * click on the Start icon at the bottom left corner of the desktop and select 7-Zip File Manage: 7-Zip opens. * Click the down arrow at the right hand end of the address box to display your files. Locate ARO versionx.x.7z and doubleclick on this name to open it. It contains one folder and five separate files. These are not ready to use; they must be extracted by 7-Zip. * Click on the large blue minus sign, marked Extract, on 7-Zips tool bar and a Copy pop-up box appears. Accept the suggested location for the installation files or choose a different one. ARO versionx.x.7z is only needed during the installation and may be deleted once ARO has been installed. Installation * Make sure that your computer still has an internet connection as it may be necessary to download some further Microsoft components. The Assisted dRawing toOl Manual is one of the five separate files that have been copied into the same directory as the installation files. Further information about the files that may be needed is given there. * Wait a few seconds to allow the extraction process to complete before clicking on setup. The time taken for the installation will depend on which Microsoft files need to be downloaded and installed. Please be patient. * You may receive a Security Warning. This software is virus free. Installing it carries no risk. It has been independently tested for viruses and malware by Softpedia http://www.softpedia.com/progClean/Assisted-dRawing-toOl-Clean-234581.html and been awarded their 100% clean award. * Click on Install. Follow any instructions that are given on screen. ARO opens when the installation is complete. * Some antivirus software is known to prevent installation. If this occurs, you will need to shut down any other software that you have running and switch off your PC to kill the process that has failed. Restart your PC and temporarily disable your antivirus while you repeat the steps from clicking on setup. Remember to enable your antivirus immediately that the ARO installation completes. How to use ARO The User Manual has been downloaded with the installation files. There is also a set of Introductory Exercises which can be used to become acquainted with the drawing techniques.
