  • Doing a homebrew 8085 project for the boy to learn on. Most of the 8-bit cross dev kits use z80 instruction set. I am writing ROM based BASIC interpreter in small-c (hendrix) then emits 8080 instructions, so this is perfect. Thanks!
  • Jay Cotton Intel 8080 Assembler is a simple, yet powerful assembler that can make the job done. Use standard Intel 8080 assembly syntax. Output file is in binary. Can also output listing file. I currently use the assembler for development of a SOC, based on a 8080 soft-processor (tv80).
