  • The best tool to tailor your soundscape and music needs for Tabletop Roleplaying! Functional, Intuitive and Ease of Use at the table with multiple device setups possible.
  • Amazing software & RPG tool. The interface is a bit buggy at times and has a few idiosyncrasies that you may have to learn to work around, but the core functionality is excellent. A lot of though has clearly gone in to the feature-set here, and I've found that it can do pretty much everything I want out of a dynamic soundscape tool, albeit with a bit of effort sometimes (due to interface issues). One of my favorite features is the ability to set a specific speaker for sounds to play out of, so you can build surround-sound soundscapes. As mentioned, there are a few interface issues, mainly in the editor app. These generally aren't terribly annoying, but I find I'm often slowed down by them. For example, it's very easy to accidentally drag items in the project tree-view where you do the bulk of the organisational work, which causes weird things to happen, often resulting in the item vanishing. Undo seems rather robust though, and easily fixes any mistakes and accidental vanishments like this. One very minor disappointment for me has been the lack of a Mac OS port, making it slightly less convenient to run on mac laptops (as you'll have to boot into windows or Linux to run the controller app). But frankly a mac port is way down the bottom of the priority list of future dev. work I'd like to see. Finally, I'd like to say thanks to Joerg for the great work on this very cool application! :)
