Carl did an excellent job! Even though it is over 3 years old PacBang 2016-04 64 bit works perfect to an encrypted partition with a separate boot partition. Once you get your repositories updated with new addresses (could use from an existing Arch install), update your keys, then your installed software your good to go. Install your favorite DE, keep or delete openbox, install your favorite login manager, yay and pamac and your as pure Arch as your going to get anywhere. Then some rainy day you can install the "real Arch" the way it was meant to be done. Have fun ...
