AQA-AODV (Adaptive QoS-Aware for Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector) is a modified and enhanced version of the routing protocol AODV (Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector) Key Features: - An algorithm used for the estimation of the available bandwidth that allows nodes along the path to know their available resources (in terms of bandwidth). - A cross-layer mechanism to inform to the application layer the available bandwidth by which the source node can easily adapt its transmission rate. - A route recovery mechanism with a session cache table. Please use the package “ns-2.33_AQA.tar.gz” to replace the ns-2.33 folder in ns-allinone-2.33 package. Then follow the standard ns-2 installation procedure. Package “using_aqa-aodv.tar.gz” offers some example simulations.
