  • Hello (forgive me for my poor English: it's not my native language :-) ) Well, I repair PCs and live tools are most important part of my toolkit: I have a multiboot USB with a huge amount of antivirus and many other kinds of bootable rescue tools. Antivirus Live CD is very good: it's light and powerful at the same time. Perhaps it's not powerful as Bitfefender Rescue CD and Kaspersky Rescue CD are, but it works very well. Ok, if you are a new-by and you are not acquainted with not graphical environments you can find it not very user friendly at the beginninng, but it's not so difficult to understand the basics and start it also because it has a step by step manual you can follow while settings Antivirus Live CD. I must also confess that I love "old school face" :-) (AVG live CD has a similar one). In the past it was hard to get a wifi connection but now this issue seems to be fixed and you can choose betweeen wifi and ethernet. If you choose wifi I suggest to use WPA SUPPLICANT option, which is the most common nowadays. You can generally answer "no" to all questions and you have only to type the name of your connection, the PSK password and then type "connect". After this you should be connected. Then type "antivir" and you will see the update process. Then you will be redirected to scan options which are quite clear and easy to understand and don't need a particular explanation. That's all! ;-)
