The binary RPMS found here have been built and
tested on a REDHAT 6.X based machine. We cannot
verify that they will function properly on other
RPM-compatible systems. Limited testing has
been done to covert them to Debian packages using
Debian's 'alien' program and we've had some success,
but your results may vary.
PLEASE NOTE:
This installation requires a machine without any
instance of apache, MySQL, php, udb or anteil.
Using these RPMS on a running web server could
damage your configuration and/or web content.
For the purposes of testing, we recommend a
machine with a fresh install of RedHat Linux 6.2.
If you desire to install Anteil on a running server,
you may use the SRPMS and extract, build and
configure the packages yourself or you may contract
Anteil to perform those services for you. Contact
us at info@anteil.com for pricing information.
Here's how to get Anteil installed:
1. Download the RPMS
For MySQL:
MySQL-3.22.32-1.i386.rpm
MySQL-client-3.22.32-1.i386.rpm
MySQL-shared-3.22.32-1.i386.rpm
For Apache:
apache-1.3.12-2.i386.rpm
For PHP4:
php-4.0.2-1.i386.rpm
php-mysql-4.0.2-1.i386.rpm
php-udb-4.0.2-1.i386.rpm
For UDB:
udb-1.5-1.i386.rpm
udb-initdb-1.5-1.i386.rpm
For Anteil:
anteil-1.1-1.i386.rpm

anteil-initdb-1.1-1.i386.rpm
Installation Scripts:
install
uninstall

2. Be sure to uninstall all instances of the following
packages:
apache
MySQL
php
udb
anteil
You can use our 'uninstall' script to clear any
conflicting packages.
3. Run the 'install' script as 'root'.
This script will install all of the packages
and configure your system to run Anteil. It
completes the install by running the newly
configured apache web server.
4. Start you web browser - you now have a
fully-functional version of Anteil! Point
your browser to you local host. The Anteil
splash screen should appear. At the login
enter 'admin' with a password of 'admin'
(don't enter the quote marks).
5. Try it out and enjoy.
