NVIDIA Support for Anigma OS Live ISO

Quick Start

NVIDIA (SBo's opensource) driver version: 590.48.01 Linux Kernel: 5.15.193

If you have an NVIDIA GPU, add nvidia-drm.modeset=1 to your boot parameters in GRUB. Otherwise just boot normally.

Once booted, if you're NOT using dual graphics (hybrid laptop), you can safely start the graphical environment with init 4.

If you HAVE dual graphics (Intel/AMD + NVIDIA), use the utility script instead:

/usr/bin/aos/nvidia/start-plasma-nvidia

This will detect your NVIDIA GPU and let you choose which GPU to use for the session (integrated for battery life, or NVIDIA for performance).

PRIME Offload for Dual GPU Systems

To run a specific application on the NVIDIA GPU while the rest of your desktop uses integrated graphics:

/usr/bin/aos/nvidia/prime-run <application>

Example: /usr/bin/aos/nvidia/prime-run steam

That's it. The driver and all necessary modules are pre-installed and will load automatically if an NVIDIA GPU is detected.
