andfs is meant to be a BSD licensed "filesystem layer" that can be backed by any other filesystem. It is meant to incorporate very easy to use, robust, extremely fast and flexible filesystem block level deduplication and compression.
andfs is meant to be compatible with Linux and NetBSD.
