It works as documented. Fast and easy. Used with success for BBC iplayer videos. One thing is missing: the option to download subtitles. I will try to edit the batch file to see if I can include the possibility to download subtitles.Reply from Advanced Youtube Client - AYCPosted 2022-04-06

I'm having a bit of a problem. When I use batch download, it will immediately say it was successful without actually downloading anything. I was having this problem on v2.995, so I updated to v3.1 and when that didn't work I tried updating youtube-dl which didn't work either. I can't think of anything else to try. I don't actually think it deserves 1 star, I just put 1 star hoping that it would be more likely to send you an alert or something.

Exactly what I was looking for. No-nonsense easy to use and quick. (Haven't had any warning, did have to replace the .exe to get it to run but that was hard to miss in the description) 3.3 Is even better, definitely easier to use and fixed my issues with refusing to download. Using this for about 1 year on different PC's without issues after ignoring the initial Windows Defender warning during installation.

I don't know if this is possible, but I would like to be able to create my own preset (for example: download in best quality in standard codec). This thing works like a charm. No problems at all with the antivirus (using Webroot) .
