This utility I created could help you from getting the script has stopped responding error in Firefox. The script has stopped responding is a 100% firefox issue. No other browser has these issues. This utility will simply keep certain prefetch files in the C:\Windows\prefetch folder cleared or deleted. Why this works for myself and some other people is beyond me. It has been suggested that What is happening is that Firefox's plugin-container.exe crashes and then thinks the actual plugin has crashed, when in reality it is poor design of the plugin-container.exe which runs the pluguns causing the problem. Just simply run this before you launch Firefox, and it will sit in the system tray scanning for the prefecth files generated by the plugin conatiner, the plugin container itself, and Firefox. It is not just flash that the plugin-cntainer.exe crashes, but also silverlight as well causes this behaviorin Firefox. I have offered this solution up on the MOzilla Forums and the people who are the moderators most do not unerstand anything about this and are unwilling to try. I have several people who did participate and they have had success. The posts date back to late 2012 when I offered up a solution, but fell on deaf ears. I suggest that you try out the BAT file version to see if this works for you. The bat file does exactly the same thing as the exe does, except does it without having to minimize a cmd window. It is mearly meant to test out to see if this solution works for you.
