Furthermore, the potential to shop any piece of work in your laptop or at the cloud as the perfect layout is also very beneficial, this means that you may design pieces that can be used for online purposes or as revealed posters and even billboards if essential. In my opinion, that is the satisfactory platform available to image designers to apply for their work however is likewise exquisite for informal users (which I became to begin with).

Cons: The maximum obvious trouble with this software is the fee, as now not simplest is it costly but it does now not include one constant sum however alternatively installment payments. However I sense that that is justified by using the overall fine of the products as well as the preliminary loose trial and offers which can be to be had to the consumer. In addition to this, it can be complicated to perform as a first time consumer as the wide sort of tools and options it gives can seem overwhelming to first time customers; despite this, this trouble may be overcome by using following the various loose Photoshop training and tutorials to be had on YouTube as an example.

Overall: I actually have had an enormously nice enjoy with Adobe Photoshop, it has allowed me to finish every piece of work that I were assigned via customers. I could fantastically propose this product to any professional photograph dressmaker or fanatic seeking to establish or improve their skillsets, I have in no way had an difficulty with the software program however additionally understand that Adobe's customer service may be very beneficial and professional in dealing with any problems.

"It's not the most intuitive, but it's powerful."

    Posted 2020-10-21

Pros: Photoshop has come a long way over the years. I've been using it self-taught since 2002. On my most recent purchase of it, I was pleased to see that the developers are making it much more approachable by building in free tips and tutorials and examples, which makes it so much more accessible for the average user. The tools of course are incredible.

Cons: Honestly, the price is still steep, especially cause it's in US dollars. It would be great if they could offer a package for Photoshop & Illustrator, but right now I believe you have to buy the whole suite or Photoshop/Lightroom. As someone who works for a small company, the whole suite wasn't affordable, but thankfully I was able to get a discount for my non-profit through TechSoup. For the average person, I think programmes like Canva and mobile apps are going to be a lot more accessible in terms of being user friendly and priced well, but professionals will probably always come back to Photoshop.

Overall: It's a powerful programme that has become more accessible in terms of tips and tutorials, but it's still not a very accessible price point for the average small business or non-profit. I wish they would offer Photoshop/Illustrator packages.

    Pros: Good interface
    Excellent for image retouching
    Lots of free templates available
Design features - great for layering images
Great online community and lots of tutorials
Integrates well with Adobe suite of products

Cons: It is heavy on system resources, there should be a lite version available for basic use.
The complete photoshop app is pricey and comes at a monthly subscription.

Overall: Adobe Photoshop is the most popular photo editing app and is rightly so. It provides a great interface, is packed with features and has a great online community. Lots of resources are available online for Photoshop, making it easy to pick up even for beginners.

    "Excellent product but overpriced "

    Posted 2020-06-21

Pros: Adobe Photoshop is an essential tool for anyone looking to enter the designing field. I've been using it for graphic design and photo manipulation for years now, and it has served me well in both aspects. I absolutely love the brush tool. You get to create your own ones and the internet provides you all kinds of brushes for free too. Styles, patterns, textures, you name it - these tools are enough to make even a beginner feel like they know a thing or two. It also integrates easily with all other Adobe Suite products, which is a great option and gives you a complete environment for your design needs. Photoshop alone comes with excellent support from its creators. And you also get free fonts, which are cool. There are plenty of learning resources online for free, so anybody willing to put in the time and effort can easily make the most of Photoshop.

Cons: The software can get glitchy at times, and doesn't work as smoothly on a low-end device. I also feel like there should be some features that use AI, especially considering how easy it is to do edits using other free apps that might otherwise take hours to do on Photoshop. It is also extremely expensive. There are actually equally powerful tools out there, some even for free, so I wouldn't recommend Photoshop to somebody who's not serious about getting into design and editing. I also feel like the text tool could use some more improvements and features. It also has a learning curve, so absolute beginners would feel lost pretty soon.

Overall: Photoshop is a handy tool for designers, and I would absolutely recommend the entire Adobe Suite to make the most of it. Otherwise, it can slow down a low-end system, and can seem expensive. But if you're serious about designing, don't hesitate to buy it. It will serve you well.

    "Photoshop - Review"

    Posted 2020-06-17

Pros: (+) Photoshop tool has a lot of features
(+) Smooth interface with a lot of help
(+) Photoshop can handle 3D designs.
(+) Drawing tools are very accurate.
(+) Merging photos is also good.

Cons: (-) The Premium version is a bit costly.
(-) Some photos drop quality when enlarged, which can be a quality issue of the photo.
(-) It can be a bit slow as it consumes a lot of RAM.

Overall: Adobe Photoshop is a revolution in the media business. If you are not satisfied with your photo you can additionally put your inputs and make it look better by removing all the unnecessary objects. But some of the features can be a bit costly when it comes to the pricing aspect.

On an overall level, Adobe Photoshop is a very good software that can be used for editing photos and make your photos look better.

"Each time you use it. You will learn something new!"

    Posted 2020-06-06

Pros: - This is the kind of software that is an ocean of options and opportunities. It can literally take years until you get accustomed to every feature in it.
    - An excellent community of designers and artists creating tutorials and resources everyday.

Cons: - It is definitely expensive for individual artists who cannot afford a lot of basic tools. Maybe the creative cloud has better options for such people.
    - It can be intimidating at first owing to the sheer number of options in the software.

Overall: Photoshop is the Swiss army knife of design software, if you're good at it, you can create anything from memes to magazines. I have come to believe that the knowledge of a tool like this is an essential skill and should be thought in schools.

"One of the most robust photo-editing softwares, and the standard!"

    Posted 2020-06-03

Pros: Prior to pulling the trigger and getting a license to use Photoshop (the price is a bit prohibitive) I'd tried several free online photo-editing apps, but it would be difficult to do things like select just a person's face, or select objects that I want to blur out etc. Photoshop on the other hand is really good at identifying edges between objects in images, making it super simple to select what you want, then do what you want, whether that's changing the hue (smurfs, anyone?) or increasing the contrast.

Cons: Like a lot of robust software, Photoshop is initially a bit overwhelming. It has a learning curve, and figuring out what button does what is a process. It's also expensive, and certain licenses don't come with stock template packs for whatever reason. And the update process is kinda stupid, you easily end up with 3 different versions, two of which are outdated but still won't be automatically deleted.

Overall: There's a reason why people say 'photoshop images' like we do 'google a thing' ... it's the leading product in its industry.

    "Extraordinary software, annoying subscription-only model"

    Posted 2020-05-29

Pros: The software itself is superb, and is still the best and most thorough, full-featured image editing toolset in the world. You can create all sorts of awesome things with Photoshop once you get through the initial learning curve, which isn't actually hard at all.

Cons: There used to be a standalone version (CS6) but the standalone format was discontinued in favor of the Creative Cloud subscription model, which is really unfortunate as I would prefer to own, not rent, the software and use it offline especially in the event that Adobe as a company someday shuts down.

Overall: I have logged thousands of hours in various versions of Photoshop as far back as version 5.5 before the CS series. It is outstanding software, I just dislike the pricing model they've adopted the past few years.

"Great Photo Editor-if you know how to use it"

    Posted 2020-05-27

Pros: Photoshop is robust. It has more features than you will ever need. If you are considering only doing light editing, this is not a product for you. There are a lot of options out there that are free to adjust filters/brightness/contrast/saturation/etc. If you need to do heavy editing, Photoshop can't be beat. It can be hard to learn, however. It has a lot of features.

Cons: If you are a first-time user, it is completely overwhelming. The longer time you spend working in it, the easier it will become. Take advantage of any and all training videos you can find!

Overall: I highly recommend Photoshop if you need to do heavy editing. It is expensive compared to free programs online, but it is the best in the business.

Pros: There's nothing you can't do on Photoshop. Since the early G4 Mac days, the software has been great for amateurs and professionals alike. I personally use photoshop to edit my photos and the results are always great.

Cons: The software is heavily reliant on system resources, so amateurs or newbies with barebone systems can't use the software effectively. It takes too much time for some effects to apply.

Overall: It's a must have application for serious and hobbyist photographers and while the learning curve is high, it's worth it.

"The only Image Editing software you'll ever need to learn"

    Posted 2020-05-23

Pros: - Adobe Photoshop has more features than most designers actually expect from an editing tool. It often expands the number of ways a designer can approach the task of editing an Image.
    - Excellent community support with tonnes of tutorials by Adobe itself and by the entire community of photographers and designers.
    - Tools like Adobe image cloud and Adobe Bridge make it much easier to manage large projects as a professional photographer and designer.
    - Everything from web to huge print related graphics can be created using this software.

Cons: - It can be a bit intimidating and hard to learn for first time users.
    - The user interface and the tools are not the most intuitive and take some getting used to before they can be used efficiently.

Overall: I think Adobe Photoshop has revolutionized the entire Photography and Design landscape by giving so much power to individuals. It is the one single tool that you need to learn to achieve mastery as a photographer or a designer.
