Overall: Adobe After Effects is the standard in video editing and effects for a reason. It has a huge variety of built in effects, transitions and tools to create professional content. However, it is both expensive and difficult to learn.

Pros: -After Effects also has a vast array of built-in tools and presets that allow users to create sophisticated animations and graphics with little to no experience.

-Additionally, After Effects is widely used by both amateur and professional filmmakers, video editors, and motion graphics artists, making it a very versatile tool.

Cons: There are many things that I do not like about Adobe After Effects. First and foremost, the program is notoriously slow and crashes frequently. Additionally, the user interface is outdated and difficult to navigate. Finally, the program is expensive and not very versatile.

Cons: Larger learning difficulty than even most adobe products. It can be cumbersome for those who haven't been trained.

Overall: After Effects has taken our videos from drab business walkthroughs to interesting pieces that keep people's attention. It's the little things, and they really shine with the content we've produced with After Effects.

Pros: - Adobe After Effects has some of the best presets and transition available pre-built in it, also further assets can be downloaded from the store.
- It makes adding animation to the project a piece of cake.
- The layout and the user interface is made such that all the features offered by the tool is listed on the main dashboard or is categorized in way that it is very easy to reach it.
- It gets easily integrated with other Adobe software products seamlessly for further operations on the projects.

Cons: - It is an advanced software, is not ideal for beginners who want to edit videos.
- There are many features which does not work without an internet connection.

Overall: Overall, Adobe After Effects is the best software for editing video and adding motion, graphics and animations on them.

Pros: If you want your videos to be modern and professional, After Effects is the simplest way to go. Gone are the days of Windows Movie Maker! After editing in Premiere, AE is perfect for animations and transitions, text and color grading! You can also download tons of pre existing templates to work with which is a huge plus.

Cons: After Effects is not beginner friendly, you will definitely need to watch videos and explore Adobe Help to get an understanding before diving in.

Overall: Adobe After Effects has been a great asset for our company to add professional branding to our YouTube videos.

Pros: I've only scratched the surface of what Adobe After Effects is capable of, and it has already blown my mind. Very impressive!

Cons: -The major problem with Adobe After Effects is that this app's ram management department is worse. You will find some lags and jitters even working on a high-end machine, and I think they should look into the issue and improve it as it is a significant setback for the users in terms of experience.
-The subscription fee for this app is on the pricier side but considering all the features and customer support you get, and it is justifiable. After all, you are working on a professional app, so you should expect a high price.

You must ensure that you run this software on a decent to high-end PC or won't get the desired performance or a good experience. Cons: Harsh on the ram. Ram management could be a lot better. Rendering could be very slow on low-level computers.

Pros: I am familiar with Adobe software so for me After Effects is really easy to learn.
You can do 2 D animation, 3D animation , motion graphics and many cool special effects.
You can do normal video editing also with many effect and transitions.
There are lot of plugins are available for after effect Which help you to do advance video editing or vfx for an example element 3d for creating packshots.

Cons: For new users who are not familiar with these kind of software can face issues to understand the interface, it's not hard but there are lot of things.
After Effects needs a high system configuration for vxf and some other things but if you want normal video editing then its ok.
It created lot of temp files which take a lot of space.

Overall: After Effects is one of the best software for video editing, composition and vfx and used worldwide in companies and a lot of people use it personally too.

Cons: Difficult to understand at first but after a little hands on you will find it easy if you are serious in learning this.

Overall: The rendering time is a little high but has after the rendering is complete the final output will be mind blowing.

Pros: The program is easy to learn and does not require a lot of time to master. It is 100% suitable for you if you need to quickly do a little job.

Cons: After Effects constantly lags and works with bugs. Sometimes some important functionality may simply not work and you will not be able to meet the deadline.

Overall: Your customers will suffer. You will suffer. Your whole family will suffer because you work for After Effects. Sorry, but it is. Although I still work in it, because there is no time to study other software. But I'll jump off that needle as soon as I can!

Cons: The plans are expensive. But gets your job done easily.

Overall: It's the topmost and perfect professional motion graphics platform. It provides designing and editing without restrictions. Great tool for professionals. Takes a few minutes to process.

Pros: It offers the best video editing available in the market. It comes with great editing brushes and options to implement your idea into it. Best for VFX and motion editing.

Cons: You need some professional experiences or some time to learn from tutorials.

Overall: Adobe After Effects is a promising and powerful video editing tool. It offers professional services to give excellent VFX and motion editing. I highly recommend this tool it's the greatest and best editor I ever used.

*Being a beginner it's very easy to use, as being industry leader, it has many tutorial available on YouTube
* You can import effects and there are many predefined effects
* Supports high rendering speed

Cons: This is very vast feature packed software so need a bit of time and dedication to get used to.

Overall: The software is industry leader in the field of video editing. The best part of this is there are tons of tutorial available online. I have created my own library of effects which includes some of the imported one and can use with some clicks only. Supports crossover platforms. I use this to create intro for videos.

Pros: This is THE best compositing toolkit out there, no question. I'm not a fan of the rental/subscription format of Creative Cloud but the software itself is top-notch. The keying tools, the masking and roto, and all the effects filters are great and very extensible - there are a ton of Ae plugins that expand the creative potential of this VFX tool to be nearly limitless.

Cons: Creative Cloud, unfortunately, is not great. I'd prefer to own software outright. Worse for AE, the alternatives seem to be catching up fast. Hitfilm Pro is an excellent alternative (That I recently switched to) and Fusion is also amazing for pro-grade compositing and keying, and both of those offer one-time pricing and feature limited but still decent free versions. After Effects needs to continue improving, and Adobe cannot be complacent and expect to retain its customer base in the future.

Overall: I used AE for thousands of hours on various VFX projects as far back as 2003 (before the CS series) so I do have a fondness for Adobe's software. I have used AE on dozens of short videos to do a wide range of effects sequences. But as an indie on a limited budget I realize it is time to move on personally. The alternatives are nearly as good and they fit a pricing model that I prefer.

Pros: I like it because of Its powerful engine. which helps in to create all type of visual effects. Also, it supports plenty of features like motion graphics and text animation. Must for all!

Cons: It requires high end PC for rendering and it is slightly expensive, otherwise nothing to complain anything.

Overall: I make all type of visual effects along with attractive text animation. I recently edited my video and introduce some electric & fire which was eye catching and then I uploaded that into youtube, which attracted so many subscribers.
