1) addressdb uses java. You will need jre (Java runtime environment) on your system. 2) addressdb uses SQLite. Download sqlite-jdbc-3.7.2.jar from http://www.xerial.org/trac/Xerial/wiki/SQLiteJDBC 3) Download addressdb.jar and addressHelp.zip 4) For linux download addressdb.sh or for windows download addressdb.bat These shell/batch files include configuration information which will need to be edited for your use. However the default files will enable you to get started. The default files assume that all relevant files are in the same directory. You can change this later. 5) Run addressdb.sh or addressdb.bat The window should include a Help button giving access to extensive Help information.
