IS INSTALLATION REQUIRED?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strictly speaking, no installation is required to run ADAPRO. If Java 6 
is there, you could just unzip the downloaded "adapro.zip" file and launch
the "adapro.jar" file. However, for RTF conversion, the Sarakanda font 
must have been installed in the system.


SETUP AND LAUNCH ON WINDOWS SYSTEMS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.Double click on the file "install.exe" to open the setup wizard.

2.Follow the directions. Once the installation has completed, the 
application will be launched automatically.


SETUP AND LAUNCH ON OTHER SYSTEMS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.If not already installed, download Java SE 6 - JRE and install it. 

2.Copy the "adapro" folder to a suitable location.

3.To launch the application, access the "adapro" folder and execute the 
following command:

    "java -jar adapro.jar" for the editor (without quotes)
    "java -jar keypad.jar" for the virtual keypad editor (without quotes)

4.When launching the application for the first time, the language 
selection dialogue will be displayed. To start using the application, 
simply choose your language. Your setting will be saved and the dialogue 
will not appear again.

5.For support of the Sarakanda font outside ADAPRO (e.g. Open Office), 
copy (do not move) the "Sarakanda.ttf" file into the appropiate folder in 
the system. In some platforms, this is automated through the use of a 
right-click install option or when double clicking on the file itself. 


ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The default password to the administrative interface is "admin". The
password dialogue is accessed through a hidden button on the top-left
corner of the login window.
