I've been using this program for years on my laptop, just got a new desktop PC, and was very happy to see it finally updated (in the past year or so, anyway) when I went to install it on the new machine. Well, I guess this is one of those cases of, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Both machines are running Windows 10, and 100% up-to-date with the latest patches. NEW BUGS with 22.214.171.124: - Crashes left and right, especially during desktop startup. - When interaction with keyboard LEDs is enabled, it somehow interferes with hovering over stacked Windows on the task bar. It causes them to disappear intermittently, when they should not as long as the mouse is hovering over them. Very strange. Obviously, both of these are show stoppers which need to be fixed. Besides backing off to the previous version, anyone have work-arounds for these issues?
I noticed that a lot of real disk activity is not actually indicated by this tool. Just tried other similar tools near this one and compared with hardware HDDLED, and noticed the difference.
Had to uninstall (delete) it because I found it was chewing up a lot of resources.
I think this is a great product. I would PREFER the consumer market refuse to buy a laptop without an indicator ... because it took a democrat or a college graduate to decide to eliminate 'em. Next, they will eliminate windshields on automobiles. Sheesh.
A great tool. I don't know why the laptop manufacturers scrimp on a teeny tiny LED HDD activator, which is essential to know if your system is working or not. Thank you very much for this tool.
