About
=====
The Airbus A340 Glass Cockpit (a340gc) and Glass Cockpit Library (libGC)
were created for the Airbus A340 simulator project by the IRADIS Foundation
with support from the Cosmicus Foundation and the Dutch department of
education. The goal of libGC and a340gc has been to create a free framework
that can be used to build a glass cockpit upon. The Airbus A340 simulator
is intended as a research simulator and educational tool and is not intended
as a game.

The latest version of both a340gc and libGC is 0.3-1
Installing
==========
For instalation both a340gc, libGC, libSDL and Mesa are required. You'll
need libSDL version 1.2, which can be downloaded at the following website:
https://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php
You'll also need Mesa version 4, which can be found at the following website:
https://mesa.freedesktop.org/archive/older-versions/4.x/
Note: The Airbus Glass Cockpit has not been updated since 2002 and may not
run on modern systems without porting.
