Greetings,
I've installed ZZ on my RedHat 6.2 system. It seems like a pretty cool program, but I am having some problems.
Now, when I start KDE it complains:
"Could no find mime type audio/x-mp1 in /usr/share/applnk/Multimedia/zzplayer.kdelnk"
and
"Could no find mime type audio/x-mp2 in /usr/share/applnk/Multimedia/zzplayer.kdelnk"
Also, now sound for events (killing windows, kbiff detecting mail) doesn't work. Sound for ZZplayer doesn't work.

I did a mistake when I updated the zzplayer.kdelnk.
With root, go to /usr/share/applnk/Multimedia/zzplayer.kdelnk and remove the mp1 and mp2 support.
About the sound, I don't know. What is you distribution, kernel, SDL, smpeg version.
What kind of sound system are you using ?
Did you try to click on the speaker icon ?
Regards
Nicolas

Nicolas,
Thanks for the help. Removing mp? from the link file fixed the startup problem.
Also, the volume was turned down, I used kmix to turn it back up and now all is well. :^)
It is odd, I never turned *down* the volume. It seemed to happen as a result of installing zzplayer.
Thanks again!

Hi
About the volume, it's strange cause ZZplayer don't use the mixer. I you find a way to reproduce this problem, please tell me.
