( I'm not talking about the "Morph" modulator)

As in Zyn 3.0 all the parameters are going to be automation-enabled, will it be possible to morph the oscillator parameters while a note is playing?

Right now I can tweak the settings, but they only get refreshed when the new note strikes.

i understand that Zyn has to recalculate an oscillator lookup table thath's then used to play the note.

I guess it might be technically impossible, as there's tons of parameters to tweak, and pre-generating a wavetable for more than 1 parameter is already a crazy task, but can Zyn re-calculate the oscillator lookup table in realtime and actually morh the waveforms with automation / MIDI CC?

If it's not possible for all of the parameters, could at least one (the basic waveform shape factor) be automatable with a pre-generated wavetable?

You're referring to the ADsynth oscillator here and not SUBsynth, correct?

Argh. Yes, you're right. I mixed the names up.

There's some ongoing work on wavetable modulation which is likely as close to this description as we're realistically going to get. As the work is already active, I'm going to mark this as closed.
