I installed and configured zuul (1.1.2), mldonkey
(2.5), according to the instructions and to my best
knowlegde. Now, when I point my browser at zuul, I get
the start mldonkey -screen, and when I click that link
zuul starts the mlnet binary, no problem so far. But after
that, nothing happens anymore - clicking on 'Options'
or any other link yields nothing. When I restart the
browser and reload the zuul-URL, nothing happens again.
Did I miss anything important?
Thanks very much,
Daniel

Does the telnet interface to mldonkey work properly? (ie:
can you telnet to port 4000 on localhost and run mldonkey
commands?)

Telnet works fine, I've been playing around with that, too.
I found something new, though: when I run mldonkey as a
'normal' user (i.e., my default user), it works fine,
although I get an error message when trying to start a
download ("Error starting download" or something, haven't
looked into reasons yet). When mldonkey is started by apache
(it has access to all the neccessary files), I have the
above problem (running on redhat 9).
I will have to dance with the donkey a little longer tonight...

I wonder if it's some kind of permissions thing... If you
start mldonkey via the web interface, mldonkey will run as
your webserver user; what user to you start it as when
you're doing it by hand, and what are the permissions like
on the mldonkey directory?
