Zurmo 3.1.0 Improvements: the Feed Comments Portlet

The next new feature that we’ll throw under the spotlight is the simple, yet wonderful, Feed Comments portlet.

The Feed Comments portlet helps get everyone involved. It allows you to add comments to an Account, Lead, Contact or Opportunity and see this conveniently from your dashboard.

Feed comments are a great way to begin a dialogue about a particular record, and to drag in all the other team members you require by simply mentioning their @name.

But that’s not all! Documents can also be attached when posting a comment to ensure that all the relevant information is kept at your fingertips.

Keep yourself subscribed to individual feeds in the feed portlet to ensure your finger remains on the pulse, or kick back and relax when your job is done by unsubscribing and shifting your attention to where it really needs to be!
