Okay.. This is how it goes:
When I turn off my synth when I'm in ZT, it causes ZT
to crash.
I get back in windows. But when I start ZT after that
everthing screws up and causing my system to hang.
And giving me a blank screen, and not able to move my
mouse.
When pressing crtl-alt-del you come to the win2k task
manager shit and all, but when selecting the task
manager you come back in a blank screen.
Err.. yes.. I use win2k .:) always handy to know.
Very strange. After playing a little, I also found out
that when you alt-tab from ZT and play a little on the
keyboard, ZT crashes.
This crash is "catched" by win2k and you can start ZT
again.
hmmm.. scary,. :))

update!:
This also happens when I select another instrument on my
keyboard.
I think I've found the solution, I forgot to set "Midi-in
Slave" on...
So when you put that on there is no problem here.
But when its off and you change instrument or turn off the
synth it cuases ZT to crash, and win2k unable to work
anymore.
No more logging off, no more shutting down, so only hard
reset will work.

keyboard in ZT.. But also when I change instruments on my
keyboard and when I go the equalizer.. etc etc..

Okay.. after some recording, doing stuff with midi-ox +
hubi's loopback I have found the problem..
I know its been a long while since this problem was here,..
But I used to live with it. No midi-input in ZT. :)
But the problem is this:
SysEx commands (damned, there he goes again with SysEx
shit.:)..
In midi-ox so-called "system exclusive commands".. When ZT
receives some long SysEx commands ZT crashes.
So I guess thats the idea... Better late than never! :)
