An EEG / ERP domain is investigated at the University of West Bohemia. Under this research a lot of experiments are done. Each of them is described by scenario. To maximize the usability of results of these experiments we have to share the results with other research facilities. For this purpose an EEG/ERP portal was developed. It stores data and metadata of experiment including experiment’s scenarios in form of structured data (mainly XML files). The portal is designed according to INCF recommendations and it is prepared for NIF registration until level 2. It provides complete information about experiments, subjects and scenarios in a complex database. For third registration level, ontology and semantic web resources are needed. Nowadays an automatic transformation mechanism from relational database to RDF is developed. Therefore you can obtain an RDF graph describing relational model.
However, at this moment, this RDF doesn’t contain information about single scenarios. It only takes one scenario as one element and doesn’t include all details the scenario might have. In this case RDF misses a lot of information, which can be very useful for searching or sorting experiments.
The main feature of the new library is parsing of any given valid XML file to RDF valid file.
Here is an example, how can the final RDF graph looks like:
