which distribution are you using? I know Slackware has snes9x packages (at least they used to) and according freshmeat theres a debian package available. I'm sure someone has created a rpm also. Although, it may be difficult to find a version compiled with console/svgalib support. I found this while Googling(tm). a gentoo page with a link to a CVS repository: http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/pkgs/app-emulation/snes9x.xml a page on rpmseek that has a buncha links (dunno if any of them work though) http://rpmseek.com/rpm-pl/snes9x.html?hl=com&cx=603:S:0 and speak of the devil, a debian package with svga support: http://packages.debian.org/stable/games/snes9x-svga.html you may find the type of package you need in one of those links. .... wow, I just sent an e-mail to a zsnes mailing list describing where to get snes9x... that just feels so... wrong. --- Kevin Barr <km...@in...> wrote: > Actually, the main SNES9x download site has been > down for a while, and all I > could find mirrored was Windows executables. > > I'd be curious if others have the console/svgalib > set-up working w/o this problem. > > -----Original Message----- > From: > "gre...@ya..."<gre...@ya...> > Sent: 02/26/2003 2:36:34 PM > To: > "zsn...@li..."<zsn...@li...> > Subject: Re: [Zsnes-main] Still Having Linux > Keyboard Problems > Don't know what to tell you. > > until you get it fixed (or until the developers > get it > fixed, depending on the actual problem) you > might try > snes9x. > > I dunno if you can run it under the console > though. > > > --- Kevin Barr <km...@in...> wrote: > > It's a ZSNES only problem, and only when run > without > > X. > > It is in a upright arcade cabinet that has > been > > "MAMEd".
