I'm CCing you in case you don't get this response... I don't know much about ME, so I can't help you with the dos sound problem. I believe ME is based upon a DOS core, so sound should still concievably work in DOS, depending on your soundcard. But using the Windows version really is the better way to go now, since it's better "supported." The Windows version I might be able to help you with. Here's my sound setup for the best quality... Enable Sound, Stereo Sound, 44100hz, Gaussian Interpolation, and Hi Quality Low Pass. Everything else should be unchecked. You didn't really specify what sounds are "off" (i.e. incorrect or turned off?) in FF3, or if all of them are off, but the most common people have problem with is the wind effect. If that's the case, double check that "Disable Noise Simulation" is NOT checked. Square/Squaresoft was almost unique in using static to produce a wind sound effect. If it works, let me know! I like to know when I get the answer right. :-) -Alex ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adrian Moores" <amo...@ya...> To: <zsn...@li...> Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2003 11:56 PM Subject: [Zsnes-main] Sound for FF3 > Man I gotta say first of no emulator comes close to > touching this one, I'v been using an old dos version > of ZSNES that worked great so I never had to update > (using a PIII 333 w/win 98).
