I would like the ZSNES emulator to be compatable with a joypad or other such outboard device to make gameplay more realistic in accordance to the original console.

    The xbox 360 wired controller is USB and plugs right in, takes about a minute to configure.
    Also, there's dongles that convert GCN and PS2 controllers, and I'm assuming others. Have to search for a SNES dongle someday.

    The site's worth browsing too. I personally use a PS2 controller w/a usb converter since it's "balanced" unlike the xbox controller, so it's almost just like an snes controller (i.e. the d-pad is opposite the buttons and the two sticks are in the middle, rather than having a stick opposite the buttons)

    basically, the zsnes ALREADY supports just about any controller you can plug into the computer, you just have to map it.
