I have noticed that under Linux, ZSNES will sometimes
have timing issues with different music tracks falling
out of synchronization temporarily. (This is especially
annoying during the intro music for the first Top Gear
game)
The specific build conditions were:
Platform: Mandrake Linux 10.0 Download Edition
Tools and Libraries: Provided by the included RPMs
Exceptions: I upgraded SDL to the current stable
version (1.2.7) using source tarballs.
This bug has been duplicated on a friend's machine
where he did compile it using NASM 0.98 as the
instructions requested. (Mandrake 10.0 comes with NASM
0.98.38)

I almost forgot to mention. This was using a freshly
downloaded ZSNES 1.3 tarball. I couldn't test with newer
versions since my browser was being stubborn and wouldn't
let me get at WIP versions.

I forgot about this until I got the "bug auto-closed" email.
Since reporting it, I've switched to Gentoo Linux. ZSNES
1.42 compiled against SDL 1.2.8 still shows the same problem.
In fact, since the original bug report, I've noticed that it
seems to be two problems. First, a problem with audio timing
being wrong in comparison to the rest of the game, and
second, a general timing bug which makes some games
virtually unplayable.
