Starting with 0.15dev Build 1406, ZQuake added support for the EF_BRIGHTFIELD `particle field' effect from standard 'net'Quake

When using ZQ to view demos of Quake mods which used this effect, the player can see the swirling yellow particles in their view...this is how it is in netQuake (and how it should be)

...but when playing a QuakeWorld mod that now adds this EF_BRIGHTFIELD to their .effects, the affected player doesn't see these dots in their view. (You can see the effect when it's applied to other players/objects fine, you just cant see your own when it's applied to you)

For some netQuake demos that show how it is supposed to look when playing, watch pretty much any of the RuneBot demos from:
http://nygmafiles.essentrix.net/demos/

...and to test in a QW mod it's just a matter of adding EF_BRIGHTFIELD to a player's .effects (and making sure there is an uncommented line with "float EF_BRIGHTFIELD = 1;" in the defs.qc (before the other EF_ definitions)
