Oh, that's a good idea! Something like an option in the "Settings" menu, which gives user the possibility to distribute the stat points manually, or in the automatic mode.

Just thought I'd let you know that Avast is detecting malware from your most recent build uploaded to SourceForge. I'll download and give it a try after you clear that out =)

That's strange, actually. Maybe, there's some problems with Avast? But, anyway, in a few days there will be a very new release with absolutely new custom engine, so I recommend you to wait just a little bit longer.

It's possible avast has falsely detected something. Just thought I'd let you know in case you actually had malware get into your files without realizing it. That or your files are sending false errors for some reason. It only just occurred to me that you may be interested in the exact error showing, so here it is. http://puu.sh/bmeJB/2a91e0c47b.jpg

My character just lost like 13 levels after I came back home from college and Windows threw a BSoD at me as soon as I sat down in front of my PC... I would love a periodic auto-save option.
I love the new graphics, BTW. Do you think you could implement a paper-doll kinda thing on the character model for equipment? That'd be sweet.

Oh, I'm sorry, about that. Will be fixed on the next version.
Thanks. :) This graphics is a placeholder, in future it will be replaced by 3D. So you will be able to see your character in all details right in game (althrough, paper-doll is possible: something like Dungeon Siege's inventory system).
Thanks for your reply!

There is already a roguelike named Valhalla. That's very confusing, please consider renaming it.
I know about this, but our project is not going to be a roguelike anymore. Thanks for a tip anyway.

I like this game! :)
I have three suggestions. (Sorry for my poor English.)
First, want to add permadeath mode.
Second, want to handle the items manually (equip/unequip/sell).
Last, want to change piority of the skills.

This is pretty cool....the only thing im wondering is there any way to set the speed? Or is it depending totally on your computer? I saw the fps but it maxes at 100....I would like to see this going as inhumanly fast as possible!

Nope, they aren't compatible in any way. Sorry for inconveniences. :P

I've been looking for something like this for over two decades. So far, it looks very promising. All this needs is better graphics (and higher brightness), different in-game play speeds, and a simple self-learning NN AI agent that learns over time instead of a rule-based one. With the above tweaks, if it were available for console and other players' AI agents were on the map, I would gladly pay $50 for such a game. Players from around the world could form alliances and AI agents could learn to act as a group against other groups of AI agents and have huge battles......all without user input.

Yeah, I've killed a couple of years of my spare time while I've been developing a big update (rebranding, actually) to the project: animated 3D, moddability, advanced "AI" settings, infinite world with various biomes, etc. Hell, I've even developed a separate game engine just for this.
Unfortunately, there are now just too many "idle games" (e.g., clickers) on the market, which can offer more "complex gameplay", so it is unlikely that I will return to such kind of project anytime soon.
Still, thank you for the input.

You could always release it on steam as it is. People would appreciate the novelty.

I would like to see this get at leas some indirect control over the character. The user spends the stat points or chooses a skill or a passive , etc

I'll try to fix this in next patch (which will be available in a few days). Thanks for the comment. :)

Sweet, new version! Are saves from the previous version compatible with this new one?
Nope, they aren't compatible in any way. Sorry for inconveniences. :P
