A new Zorn version is out. As typical, most of the improvements are not directly visible, such as network improvements, automatic object updates, and progression to a scenario-based system.
Visible improvements include mouse steering (enable via configuration), camera lag and a changable arena size.
Version 0.1.7 is released, including several new goodies like powerups, round timers, and a stand-alone server. This version is also a bit more network-friendly.
Unfortunately, there is no Windows executable yet.
Version 0.1.6 is released, adding a few more configuration options and nicer graphics (star field). This is the first release to include py2exe-generated Windows executables.
Version 0.1.5 of Zorn is out, adding player colors, smart(er) enemies, and command line selection of configuration files.
Version 0.1.4 of Zorn is out, allowing for more configuration options (keyboard, joystick, font).
Zorn 0.1.3 is released. This version includes player-to-player chatting, network configuration in the config file, and fixes a nasty memory leak which caused the game to grow slower and slower.
Version 0.1.2 is released. This version's most notable improvement is the addition of explosions (stylized for now).
The 0.1.1 version available on 2005/11/13 contained a packaging error, please redownload if you're experiencing startup difficulties.
Zorn 0.1.1 is released. This version uses client-side movement prediction to reduce the network load.
Zorn version 0.1.0 is out, and downloadable as a .tgz or a .zip file. Since Zorn is in python, both contain the same thing.
Note that 0.1.0 is "barely playable", and as such is still very ugly and non-optimized.
