Internet Favourites

Previous versions of Zoom Investment Portfolio Manager have been heavily reliant on using an embedded web browser.
Many websites no longer support Microsoft Internet Explorer. Microsoft Edge is not so easy to embed in applications. The decision has therefore been taken to remove most of the embedded web-browsers from Version 2.8.0.

A new feature "Internet Favourites" replaces the Market Index chart on the application main window and also the News feature.

You can rename or add additional categories for your internet favourite bookmarks. Some suggested web pages are included with the application. You can edit or delete these as required using the buttons above or by right-clicking and using the pop-up context menu. Double-click a favourite to open it in your web browser.

When editing an internet favourite you can check "Open web page in your browser at startup" to show the web page when you run the application. If this is why why you are seeing this page then you might wish to edit or delete the "Zoom Portfolio Wiki" link to prevent it happening again.
