You can write Linux daemons in ZooLib. What would it take to write a Windows NT service? That's what you use in place of daemons on Windows. They are faceless background tasks that keep running even when you're logged out. I don't know much about NT services, but it seems to me that it should be straightforward to do. Anybody here know much about NT services? An NT service should work unmodified on Windows 2000 and Windows XP as well. Yours, Mike -- Michael D.
