MetroWerks is working on this and their engineer promised to get back to me. Meanwhile, the .base() fix will get things working if anyone needs to. I got ButtonMessage to build and run! I had to heavily modify the Carbon target (libraries, several missing files, etc.) PainterTest went much easier, but I can't get zac to work (I'm getting "unknown error" when it tries to run) so I can't actually run it. I'm planning to switch over to OS9 and try it there, or on a Win box. I should have said that I'm mainly interested in Carbon + Windows (I need OS X, can't quite justify the cost of Qt with no OS 9 support.) CPLAT makes me nervous in that its RAD tool is still unusably buggy 3 years after it was first released. What exactly is missing in ZooLib on Carbon? Paul |
