Somebody has started a directory of mature, stable open source products called http://www.opensourcedirectory.org/ It uses the SourceForge source code, but it is different from SourceForge - it doesn't host software development or store any files, it just classifies them. It locates files on other servers, but it is different from FreshMeat (http://freshmeat.net). FreshMeat lists a lot of open source stuff, but it also lists a lot of closed-source stuff which runs on Linux. The Open Source Directory is just for stuff that is open source. I've registered zoolib there at: -- Michael D. Crawford GoingWare Inc. - Expert Software Development and Consulting http://www.goingware.com/ cra...@go... Tilting at Windmills for a Better Tomorrow. |
