On one of the IRC servers I use with my bouncer we run events every now and then that we want to keep logs of. Right now I usually just download my full chan log from ZNC and cut it down to the right start and end time, but I was wondering if there was a better way?
Basically, I was wondering if there was some way for me to pass a command to ZNC and have it begin to record/log to a file then pass another one for it to stop. Then I could just download and share that file. I have no idea if this is possible though, but I did have setting up the Log module and then just enable and disable that... Although that is far from ideal as I use the Log module to... well, log things in general!
Can anyone think of a better idea? Or perhaps know of a module that does this?
