ZMS is the TOP (real!) CMS for small to enterprise size websites with a focus on user usability, fast and deep customizing. The main reasons why ZMS is not the most known Open Source CMS today are the flexibility it offers and the professional tech base (which takes a bit more professionality from the hostmaster / server admin and the CMS agency then i.e. entry level PHP [just so called] CMS). IT is a real CMS with the flexibility and user comfort of a real CMS and not a "Homepage design tool" like that PHP stuff which is mainly miscalled "CMS". Beside this the OO structure of ZMS includes easy building of whole web portales and central but flexible managable bundles of website in a parent/child" architecture which is nearly impossible with most other content management systems. On the other hand - the very intuitive and self-explainable usage of ZMS leads to minimal educational und support requirements regarding customers and CMS users. There is no CMS which is easier to handle for customers / end users while producing professional and structured web contents and there is no CMS which allows such a time- and cost effective customizing and integration of third party internet services and with Zope / Python under the deck, there exist a widely range of professional / enterprise quality adaptors and modules. Load- and HA management, clustering and similiar enterprise functionality is integrative part of Zope, allowing efficient and transparent scaling of ZMS installations. Very most of our users are coming from PHP based CMS solutions to ZMS or a first time CMS users and the very most of them very prefer ZMS over other solutions today. It would be nice to have a larger user community - zms is mostly used "silently" by most professional users, agencies and cms builders.
