Hi!
Great piece of work, I love it!!!
Just one question: is it possible to have it working on
two monitors? (desktop extension). I'm running it on a
dell laptop, and it works fine, however it just stops when
I connect a external monitor and switch to extended
desktop mode.

Can you help??

thanx,
best regards,

Oliver

    Hey,

Interesting problem... I've worked to make sure the
program functions properly with multiple monitors --
specifically: one machine with two video cards connected to
one monitor each, allowing your desktop area to extend
across both monitors. That scenario works fine on my home
    machine.

Now, in the setup you're describing, does plugging in a
monitor to your laptop mean that the (larger) desktop
extends across both the laptop display and the monitor, or
does it mean (as is more common with laptops) that the (same
size) desktop is being shown on two display devices? Sorry
if this is hard to understand... I'm having a hard time
trying to explain the difference between the two scenarios.
Anyways, perhaps the better question is: do you see the
start menu button on both displays, or just one?

Ok, besides that, you say that when you connect an external
monitor and switch to extended desktop mode, it just
    stops... How exactly?

    -Does Windows crash?
    -Does ZMatrix crash?
-Does ZMatrix continue to run (the icon for it is still
there in the system tray and the right click menu pops up
    when you click on it)?
-If ZMatrix continues to run, does it simply not display
on the new display device (the monitor), or does it stop
displaying on both devices (the monitor and laptop display)?
    -Does 'refreshing' ZMatrix change anything?
-Does this problem occur if ZMatrix is started AFTER the
    monitor has been plugged in?

Anyways, sorry for all the questions, but there's alot to
try and understand when tracking down an issue like this...

    Thanks for the report.

Ok, sorry to get back to you that late, but so make it short: it
works fine after I closed zmatrix and restarted it. Smooth
    operation on both monitors.
To conclude: works fine on extended desktops (one start
    menu only ;-) ).

Once again, great job!! You should make that thing a little
more public, especially when Matrix II will come to theatres.

    Cheers,

    Oliver

I run two monitors through two video cards on my desktop,
and zmatrix automatically runs on both screens. Not sure why
    it wouldn't on yours.

I'm running it on two monitors (desktop, not laptop) and
found that if I change my config, I need to reinstall the
program. Fixes everything right up for me.
