hi there...first of all, a GREAT program...

but one suggestion: do you have to clean up the area
behind a window?? it would even be far cooler if the code
would continue rendering "behind" an open window...

i think that's not a bug, but a feature

it would be nice if i could switch on/off renedering behind
windows

Ditto. Definitely a needed function. It sucks when a window opens and clears the screen so that it takes a few minutes for the text to 'paint' the background again.
