The program runs great on my 1.33 Athlon on Windows
XP PRO 512Ram, Nvidia Geforce 2 GTS. Except if any
window opens the rendered area behind it stops, so
when I close a window the matrix has to re-render the
area. Also if I drag an icon the entire window refreshes.

P.S.AN AWSOME ... A SHEEERLY AWSOME
PROGRAM.

Thanks,
Eric S.

I agree, I've been looking for a way to keep the ZMatrix lines
from getting erased by windows that are over the characters
but havent found anything. Is there a way we can keep the
areas behind windows from refreshing or would this be a new
    feature for a later version?

Just a thought from a total noncoder type with just enough
knowledge to make the impossible sound trivial. Can ZMatrix
render to an overlay and set the desktop to the overlay mask
color? Would that totally break the GREAT dual monitor
support if so? I would wager it would conflict with many
many other apps, like media players etc, but if it's possible i
bet it'd help stop that pesky refresh thingy. IIRC
DreamRender (3d desktop prettifier) detects when something
requests the overlay and gives you the option to allow the
other app to have it, and can remember your preferences...
As I said, just a thought from someone who knows the roads
    but can't drive. :)
