I'm using ZMatrix in screensaver-only mode. Background
settings are opaque/color, font is Matrix Code Font, 8
pt. Monotonous cleanup is enabled.

With these settings, I see tiny artefacts 'between' matrix
streams: Single pixels that do not get deleted when
ZMatrix 'overwrites' an existing stream with a new one.
The reason appears to be the fact that individual
characters of the Matrix Code Font vary in width and
ZMatrix does not properly clear the entire background
rectangle of a character before overwriting it. If I switch
to a monospace font like Courier New, no artefacts are
left behind.

In addition to this, it also looks like the routine that
cleans up after each matrix stream, is one or two pixels
off: While sometimes leaving intact a column of pixels at
the edge of the stream it is supposed to delete, it
shaves off one column of pixels from an adjacent stream.

System: Win XP Pro, GeForce4 Ti 4600, 1280 x 1024,
latest Detonator FX drivers (44.03).
