I'm going to forward this along to the mapserver-developers list as =20 well and ask for opinions. Do PCL and ZCO users need the =20 LABELANGLEITEM feature, or can we try a different way that is not =20 directly modeled on one of MapServer's quirky features? My first idea =20= is that instead of storing label angles in the data, we reprocess your =20= data to create a new shapefile of small lines that are oriented exactly =20= as you want your labels. Please see the tracker issue for the original report with images: =20 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?=20 func=3Ddetail&aid=3D1105690&group_id=3D71074&atid=3D530069 cheers, Sean -- Sean Gillies sgillies at frii dot com http://users.frii.com/sgillies= |
