Hi,

your problem seems to be having LogPipe option turned on and using it with 
xinetd. This is not compatible. Just comment LogPipe option out in 
ziproxy.conf . You may also want to remove .bz2 suffix from LogFile template, 
for convenience.

If you need piped compression of logs, you have to ask xinetd documentation, 
whether it allows standard error redirection to a process with pipe. 

Sorry I'm not answering directly. I had to copy message subject from mailing
