I think I added this when I initially created the plugin. Don't know in which way it negatively affects the normal processing. Could you tell me?
Not even managed it to see ZipEditor log messages in a normal Eclipse run with -debug, only when run using the PDE.

Hi Uwe,
I've just noticed this in my launch configuration, where all tracing options are "remembered" by Eclipse, you can see it in the *.launch files.
It is not urgent of course if it is not used yet, just wanted to make sure next release will have it off by default.
