Background.... I have several older Thinkpads in a wi-fi
lan around the house.(Pararallel Processsing). I have
been using FreeA*p for a long long time. I upgraded to
Zinf.. its great. I am transferring all my music to hard
disk and have a dedicated machine to play the music.
This one is fine, running Zinf.
What I would call my personal machine, where I process
my music was running Zinf. I was housekeeping. I
removed Zinf and generally tidied up. I then re-installed
Zinf. It won't run. I still have FreeA*p download and this
loads (installs) and runs fine. I have even reloaded
win98se, no luck. I stress, it works fine on my other
machines.
v2.2.1. The message I get is below. I have never come
across a msg like this in windows.
ZINF ERROR.
Zinf cannot find a valid user interface module.
Please make sure that Zinf is installed correctly.
You may wish to remove and reinstall Zinf to fix this
problem.
I would appreciate a pointer.

Zinf looks for user interface modules in the plugin
directory. You should have a zinf.ui on your computer, which
is the default
Also the preferences file should say which UI you want. I
think the preferences file is called preferences.txt, but
I'm not sure. Inside it should say:
UI: zinf.ui
