Thanks for the feature request, means a lot. I'm currently working on version 2 of the app, and these are great suggestions that would definitely improve the user experience. I'll add persistent notifications, widgets, and shortcuts to the roadmap for v2.

Regarding distribution, I'm currently banned from the Play Console, so unfortunately I can't publish there as of now (https://medium.com/@indranilbhuin/google-play-developer-account-got-banned-06d84cd4d52d).
