Been following Devuan since it's creation, delighted to see it move closer to a final release. What really surprised me was finding Zephyr! Downloaded both openbox and fluxbox and installed on separate laptops. Xorg drivers fully implemented. Found it to be a very fast, low memory foot print which I prefer with just a few applications to start an install. Overall appearance and ease on the eyes is important and rate Zephyr the full compliments and rating. Zephyr is not lacking or over done, just the right amount of applications to get any user up and running. Like the zephyr-welcome screen, very nice and the additional apps are great enhancements. Highly recommend this distro to anyone who wants a very simple, basic install where speed is paramount, totally a non-bloated distro. Plus it is systemd-less!

Very good. Kudos to you, pal. I installed the fb version, tried to change to jwm but could not, the .xinitrc did not work, changed the runlevel to 2, got the startx on console, uninstalled the dm and nothing worked. Finally, i installed xorg again, changed the runlevel to 3, uninstalled lightdm and fluxbox, and now it worked. Startx worked, no dm, and jwm kicked in from the .xinitrc. You have done a great job, the installation, the OS works great. Devuan runs good. Again, good job!
